Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup optional
  • Greek yogurt/ Shaved chocolate/ Mini chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Add cottage cheese, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  • Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval.
  • Add the melted chocolate to the blender and blend until fully combined.
  • Add maple syrup if desired and blend again.
  • Divide the mousse between two small jars or containers.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Top with Greek yogurt, shaved chocolate, or mini chocolate chips before serving.

Notes

Refrigerator: Store covered for 3–4 days.
Freezer: Freeze in small containers for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator for the best texture. The mousse will become more ice-cream-like after freezing.
