90-Second Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons oat flour
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • teaspoons maple syrup
  • ¼ cup unsweetened milk dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chunks, divided

Instructions
 

  • Use a 10–12 ounce microwave-safe mug or ramekin.
  • Add oat flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Stir until evenly combined.
  • Add maple syrup, milk and half of the chocolate chunks.
  • Stir until a smooth batter forms.
  • Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chunks over the top.
  • Microwave on High for 60 seconds.
  • Continue cooking in 10-second intervals until puffed and set on top but still slightly soft in the center. Total cooking time is usually 80–90 seconds.
  • Let cool for 1 minute before serving.
  • Add your favorite toppings if desired.
